On September 27th 2008 the Chico High Baseball Program will hold its 2nd annual Homecoming Dance and Dinner. This dance will again be held the at the Chico Masonic Family Center. We are hoping to have faculty, staff, parents of Chico High students, members of the community, and alumni at least 21 years of age attend this event.
Our goal is to again offer small scholarships to graduating seniors in our baseball program. In May of 2008 we awarded our first scholarships to nine seniors who played varsity baseball at Chico High School. Each senior received a $250.00 dollar scholarship to the school he will attend. We also plan to continue the development of our facilities and to give our players the quality equipment they deserve.
Needed repairs/renovation for the facilities are:
1. Dugouts for the JV Field. Plans have been taken care of. We are still waiting to receive the plans back from the state/district to get a materials list started.
2. Both JV and Varsity Backstops need to be repaired or replaced.
3. Fencing around fields need to be replaced. We need to enclose the varsity field.
This event will be held at the Masonic Lodge and would cost $35.00 per person.
Table sponsorships are also available for $400.00. Table will seat 8 and you will receive hat, t-shirt and sweatshirt and more.
This will be a casual affair featuring the music of "Magic"
